Finally, A Day Off!

Having days off may be the best part of going on tour (second to the concerts themselves, of course). It's so amazing to be able to take the time to explore the areas in which Justin is performing. We already know what to expect from the fans in each region we visit, but typically we are clueless as far as the actual landmarks are concerned in the areas we visit. So today we are going to take the day to enjoy the scenery Chilé has to offer.

Even though Justin may not go through the standard schooling that most kids his age are used to, his curiosity and interest in learning about his surroundings is so inspiring. It would be easy to assume that a successful teenager like Justin wouldn't care to take the time to understand the different cultures he visits, but it's actually just the opposite. Justin's interest in learning is so developed that he has chosen to have his best friends flown out on many occasions just so they can all enjoy the experience together.

This trip to Chilé is no different; today we have Justin's best friends, Ryan and Chaz, joining us just in time for our day of exploring. Justin hasn't stopped checking their flight information since eight o'clock this morning, just to make sure there are not any delays standing between their arrival and his plans for the day.

The itinerary is completely up to Justin on our days off-he won't let anyone help out with the planning. For Justin, it's all about surprising everyone with what he has planned. To be honest, Justin is great with surprises, so I'm getting pretty excited about the prospect of what we may have in store for us today. Knowing Justin, he probably has something like a helicopter tour booked for everyone to enjoy.
Last month's surprise was a trip to the Brazilian Zoo (inset)

According to our schedule today (created by Justin, of course), our day begins in about ten minutes so I better start wrapping up things here. What do you guys think he has up his sleeve? I promise to let you all know as soon as I make it home later tonight!

On The Road Again...

Good Morning, Beliebers!

We're off to South America to start the second leg of the My World Tour! One thing is for sure-days of travel are never boring. We are constantly on the move, and the paparazzi is never far away. Nonetheless, these are the days that we truly come together and work as a team.

The morning of a flight, we have an intense checklist that we go over excessively. Each of us is responsible for some tour necessity, whether it be the sound equipment or wardrobe, we are all held accountable for something. With this responsibility comes great anxiety. You guys are known to be the most intense fans in the industry; if I forget even the smallest thing, I could potentially be creating a conflict between myself and 50,000 screaming fans. Talk about pressure!

Needless to say, we take our checklist very seriously and thankfully haven't faced any issue to hard to handle so far in the tour. Justin is a huge help in this respect as well. He doesn't just leave all of the work for us, he helps out with the odd jobs needed on the day of departure which is a HUGE relief. That's the great thing about him; Justin doesn't just show up for the concerts, he takes responsibility and puts in the extra work beforehand in order to ensure the perfection his fans are expecting.

Due to our excessive amount of luggage and crew members, we usually decide against flying commercially while we're traveling on tour. Thus, we always have a good time on board (see inset). After the initial take-off fun, Justin tends to sit by himself and listen to the tracks he has prepared for the concerts, our agent constantly rummages through the details of the venue bookings, while the rest of us just try our best to relax and get some rest before the real chaos begins.

For me, my way of relaxing is blogging, so here I am! I'm already getting anxious about our transportation from the airport to our hotel and we're only two hours into the 12 flight! We never understand how, but you guys always manage to find out where Justin is staying before we even touch down in the city. As much as we love the support you all give Justin, our main concern is his safety. Kenny, Justin's bodyguard, has to come up with new and improved methods each time we travel to ensure Justin's safety.

As much as I'm nervously anticipating the throngs of fans that will be awaiting our arrival tonight at the Chilé airport, my excitement for starting the second leg of the tour takes full precedence. You guys are the greatest! We can't wait to see you all. With that being said, PLEASE help make our job easy and follow the safety precautions we have set-it's all to keep Justin safe.

I'm going to take the rest of the flight to catch up on some sleep but I just wanted to let everyone know how excited we all are, Justin especially, to get this tour underway. It's looking like it's going to be the best one yet!

As Justin would say...Leggo, South America!!
